God's Thoughts Toward Us
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
(Jeremiah 29:11-14 NKJV)
We find that the Lord's thoughts for us are good, not evil; and joy, future and hope. As we think about this, we see that God wants us to have a full life. We often do not follow Him and make choices that do not allow us to have that full life. Verses 12-14 tell us that if we call to God He will hear us and also if we seek Him with all our heart we will find Him.
We cannot hope to have this life God has planned for us without Him in our life as Savoir. God wants to give us so much and He already has when Christ died for us on that cross
( John 3:16)
to save us from our sin. We all want to live a full life and we can with Christ as Lord of our lives; nothing short of that will be good enough. Christ loves you and He wants you to accept Him and love Him, too.
